K-80 and K-20 Barrels
NEW! K-80 Parcours-X
The New Parcours-X is available in 12 Gauge with a 3″ Chrome lined chamber. The soldered side rib of the Parcours allows for thinner barrel wall with a lighter weight than the Sporter resulting in quicker performance and optimal field characteristics. The Parcours-X however has a heavier barrel wall than the standard Parcours and a new 10mm-8mm tapered vented rib to fill the gap between the nimble and lively Parcours and the smooth and fluid Sporter. The new rib is designed without a center tramline and includes brass mid-bead and white pearl front bead to provide a clean sight picture optimized for Sporting Clays and FITASC. The barrel comes standard in 32″ length with Krieghoff flush-mounted Thin-Wall chokes in Mod & Improved Mod with additional choke sizes and Krieghoff Extended Pro Chokes optional.

STEEL SHOT GUIDELINES
All K-80 and K-20 barrels with choke tubes that are proofed in Germany for Steel Shot have the “Lily” Proof Mark. (See Example to the right, first mark is the German Proof House, the bottom mark is the Steel Shot Proof mark).
To avoid damage to your choke ramp, never shoot the following ammunition with barrels that do not have the steel shot proof:
- Steel shot greater than US #4 (3.5mm) with 12 Gauge
- Steel Shot greater than US #6 (2.8mm) with 20 Gauge
- Any magnum steel shot cartridge, no matter what shot size or steel shot cartridges with a case length of 76mm/3″ or larger.
- Steel shot cartridges marked with 21755 psi or 1500 bar.
Even for steel shot proofed barrels, if a maximum shot size of greater or equal to US #2 (4 mm) is used, Modified Choke (.5mm) or less is mandatory.
Shotgun Stock Dimensions
It is not without reason that every shooter is familiar with Ludwig Krieghoff’s observation that ‘you shoot with the barrels, you hit with the stock’. He also developed Krieghoff’s patented stock fitting process, which to this day forms the basis of the K-80’s customized stocks. But even the K-80’s standard stock designs are optimized for the respective disciplines. Those who want the flexibility of using their K-80 for various disciplines can easily change the stock and forearm. The original forearm can also be used with all interchangeable barrels. Trap and sporting clay shooters are becoming more and more enamored with adjustable comb stocks. Their vertical and horizontal adjustability enables them to be perfectly adapted to suit personal needs.
The precise checkering and the ergonomic hand-shaped pistol grip are part and parcel of the functional details of stock creation. Even the recoil pad is designed to match the requirements of the respective discipline. The trap recoil pad is specially designed for ‘head up’ shooting. The sporting recoil pad is designed for fast gun mounting. In addition to working like a charm, the stock, which is made from natural wood, contributes significantly to the aesthetic charm of the K-80. Six different grades of wood are available for the stock. The particularly resilient epoxy surface permanently and attractively brings out the warm colors and the fine grain of the walnut.

STOCKS AND WOODSETS
K-80 #3 Sporter Stock
The Sporter Stock has an adjustable comb and is designed for either pre-mounted shooting or shooting from a gun down position. It's been designed for either a right-handed or left-handed shooter with appropriate cast-on and cast-off to put the barrel and rib under the shooting eye. The pistol grip with palm swell places the wrist in a controlling angle minimizing fatigue and stress during recoil. It comes standard with a Pachmayr recoil pad with reinforced heel for snag-less mounts and less recoil. The easy adjustability of the comb along with the ability to make a flawless mount, make this a top choice among sporting and FITASC shooters.
K-20 Parcours POW
The K-20 Parcours POW or Prince of Wales features a subtle pistol grip with the clean lines of a hunting stock. It comes standard with an oil finish and slight open grain for a traditional hunting look and feel. The recoil pad is a Kick-eez with reinforced heel for quick mounts necessary in the field.
K-20 Sporting/Skeet Stock
The K-20 Sporting/Skeet Stock has a neutral cast and has a slight drop to the rear of the stock making it a great all around choice for sporting, skeet and in the field. A adjustable comb can be added by our expert woodsmiths if the customer should desire one.
Trap Special Buttstock
The Trap Special buttstock accommodates the higher rib height of the Trap Special and Pro Trap barrel ribs, and has a rollover parallel comb to bring the eye in line with the higher rib. It took many years and influence from some very prominent shooters such as Harlan Cambell Jr and Kaye Ohye to develop this stock. Krieghoff's intention was to have a factory stock that fits and feels to the majority of the shooters, like a custom stock without having to go through the process of purchasing a custom stock. With the adjust-ability of the factory Krieghoff comb and optional adjustable butt plate, the fitting options of this stock are almost endless.
K-80 ProSporter
With the K-80 Pro-Sporter comes a higher rib. With a higher rib also comes a need for a higher stock. The Pro-Sporter stock allows the shooter to keep their neck in a more erect position reducing the feel of neck fatigue. Having the shooters head in a more erect position also allows the shooters field of view to be increased allowing the shooter to focus on the target more easily. Less neck fatigue allows the shooters to shoot further into those long tournaments and shoot offs.
K-80 ACS
The K-80 ACS features a higher rib, requiring a higher stock. The ACS stock allows the shooter to keep their neck in a more erect position, reducing neck fatigue. Having the shooter's head in a more erect position also increases the shooter's field of view, allowing the shooter to focus on the target more easily. Less neck fatigue allows the shooters to shoot further into those long tournaments and shoot-offs. The difference between the ACS stock and the Pro-Sporter stock is that the ACS stock has a parallel comb while the Pro-Sporter stock has a drop to it. The main benefit to a parallel comb stock is that it always allows you to see the same sight picture even with an inconsistent mount.
K-80 Parcours
With our newest and most evolving configuration in the K-80 model comes a stock that has to live up to a life of competition and field hunting. Sporting Clays and FITASC shooters love how quickly the gun mounts to just the right spot in their shoulder while the field hunter loves the reduced weight of the stock for those long tiring days in the field. The K-80 Parcours weighs in at just over 8 lbs, that's almost a full pound lighter then the popular sporting model. Half of that weight loss is from the design of the slimmer Parcours stock and forearm. The Parcours stock also has an adjustable comb to achieve that perfect fit that competition shooters demand.
Also in the Parcours family is the K-80 Victoria. For this stock Krieghoff went back to the drawing boards and sought insight from some of the world's top female shooters such as Kayle Browning, Katie Fox and Rachel Carrie to make a stock that is truly made to fit a women's body. A purpose-built stock with a shorter length of pull, the appropriate pitch and cast, and a smaller tailored palm swell that fits the elegance of the female hand lead to a smooth instinctive aim and precise shooting for all situations.
K-20 Parcours With Adjustable Comb
The K-20 Parcours with an adjustable comb is very similar to the K-80 Parcours. While weighing in around 7lbs, the K-20 Parcours makes a great field gun whether you are hunting Pheasants in the Midwest or Quail in the South. Again, like the K-80 Parcours around half of the weight reduction comes from the stock and forearm's slim design.
Also in the Parcours family is the K-20 Victoria. Light, graceful and carefully designed for the female shooter, the K-20 Victoria features a stock that is a natural fit to a women's composition and hands. The Victoria has a shorter length of pull, smaller grip and more cast and drop along with our Victoria checkering which adds an elegant flow to the stock and forearm.
Left-hand and Right-hand Standard Stocks
Krieghoff shotguns come standard with the choice of either a "right-hand" or "left-hand" stock allowing for customizing stock fit without going to a full custom stock. The cast and pitch are evident in the comparison as seen from the rear. The heel is slightly off center, the toe of the recoil pad is tapered in towards the body, and the comb is cast to put the shooters eye over the rib.
Trap Forearm
The trap forearm comes standard on the Trap and Skeet models for the K-80 and K-20.
